I'm on an ecokik!

As a musician, composer and media producer, I've been privileged to travel to some amazing places our world has to offer. When I think I've seen (and done) it all, I find myself on yet another adventure that rivals the previous one. It has been well over a decade since I last visited South America, parading as a 'carnival partying' tourist. This time, I come as director of a project that is as important as anything I've ever done. Via Rio de Janeiro and Juina - MT, reforestation of the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil is the act I'll be taking on as a partner of TreeViver, while documenting people, places and 'all living things' I cross paths with, along the way. My dream gig.

TreeViver, LLC (located in Colorado, USA) is in the business of reforestation & fundraising for public education. Visit TreeViver.com for more information.

After being introduced to the man on the left, I said to him, “That’s a really nice shirt you have on.” He took it off and handed it to me, on the spot. So, I did the same.
Here is a photo of us posing with our new shirts on. I think I now know where the saying, “I’ll give you the shirt off my back” came from… Brazil!
